Ed Baker is an experienced, investment strategist who initiated a disciplined, money management style while completing his MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Today, Ed Baker is the Principal of Baker 500™ and Manager for the Baker 500 Large-Cap Growth portfolio--his own growth style.

His accomplishments include serving as the CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Piper Jaffray Trust Company of Minneapolis, MN; Senior Vice President for Norwest Bank Corporation, now Wells Fargo Bank, of Minneapolis, MN; and Senior Vice President for international-investment-adviser AIB Govett (Allied Irish Bank) of London, England.

With 4 children, one a freshman in college and three grown children, as well as three grandchildren, Ed has ample motivation to manage portfolios for many years. Ed is excited to build Baker 500™ and manage money for accredited investors. And he is confident about his investment approach, because as he points out, “it works.”
